A range of mountains located on the southeastern side of the city of Hail, about 60 km away, with a length of about 55 km, and a width of about 7 km. The highest peak stands at 1,430 meters above sea level. Among the famous places in the Salma Mountains with tourist attractions are Al-Hatima volcanic crater and the heritage village of Taba, which was built in the middle of the crater of an extinct volcano.
