An agricultural desert oasis located 65 km northwest of Hail. It is one of the oases located at the beginning of the Al Nufud Al Kabir Desert. Al-Hafeer was named after its geographical shape as it is located in a hole in the middle of Al Nufud Al Kabir Desert and is bordered on all sides by Al Nufud Al Kabir and to its west is al-Khashab Mountain, which is one of its most prominent tourist attractions. It is a huge black mountain, and a bottom near it called Qaa al-Sir.
